Yes, this does require a gimmick for the deck, but it is a great effect for any time in your routine
with a normal deck.
The gaff can be openly dropped on the closeup pad both before and after the
effect without being noticed. The casual way the gaff is used goes completely unnoticed by the
spectators.
Since the 1970's, I have performed the same effect using a gaff of my own
design, and while I have never been called on the gaff I built, it requires keeping track of my gaff
wile performing other effects with the gaff in the deck. This concept and presentation is this one
is slick and quick...No problem to use, and the gaff draws no heat though it just lays on the pad
throughout the set.
Get it and use it. It really is a great closer for a one deck routine!
