This is almost self working but requires one essential minor sleight. If you cannot do that one
sleight flawlessly 3 times, it's very possible to get caught out.
The printing was done very
consciously to support the illusion, but the face of the cards is arbitrarily tiny, and the printing
is too small -- I say this as someone with a lot of commercial print and graphic arts experience,
the printing on the face of the cards is too small in at least 3 ways.
It's a nice idea, the use
of a deck as a tarot analog, and putting 'fortune' text on the face of it is good.
I really
think 4.5 stars because of the sleight being essential to get right; because it needs a table, and
almost requires a closeup mat as well; and the printing being hard to read in any but the best
lighting (best for reading not magic) ... I respect this illusion a great deal but probably won't
find it in many of my shows.
