I love everything about this deck and the routines it empowers, but there is one pretty big downfall
for me personally — the color. The strongest routines, to my taste, are based on differentiating
between the positive emotions and the negative emotions, where the positive emotions are colorful
and the negative emotions are black and white. The problem is that the colors are not very saturated
on the positive images. They are actually fairly washed out. And the black and white images aren’t
black and white — they’re tinted blue — which makes them stand out from the colored cards even less.
If Murphy’s does a second printing of these cards, I would highly encourage them to tweak the
artwork to make the color/b&w contrast much more striking. The OOTW routines, which is what I
purchased this for, fall flat without a striking and discernible contrast.
