I have had the deck for a couple of weeks and found that while the marks are easy to read on a new deck, as the deck is used, the side edges of the cards turn slightly grey (this is normal because I compared the side edges of all paper cards (i.e. Bicycle deck) turn grey with use. Hence the side edges are no longer snow-white new)

However, with that being said the marks for red suited cards are also harder to read and a couple of cards are harder to read than others.

BOTTOM LINE: I do like the deck and will continue using it. I will have to buy more as they age... I am not sure how long my Pilot deck will last yet before I will need a new one.
