The design on this milk pitcher is outstanding. With most milk pitchers it look like you only pour
out about 2/3rds of the liquid , leaving the pitcher 1/3 full of liquid. This one is more like you
appear to pour out 7/8ths of the liquid, so the illusion is that you've poured out a lot more
liquid.
The only thing that would make this better is if it permitted a quicker pouring
action. You must make the pouring action fairly slow and steady (as with most other milk pitchers)
but I think the opening on the gimmick could be enlarged slightly (I haven't tried that yet) to
permit a somewhat faster pour. You don't need to use milk, any opaque liquid works. I prefer
"orange juice" (orange drink with a bit of non-dairy coffee creamer mixed in to give it more
opacity) or tomato juice.
By comparison , this one , 'Milk Jug Jumbo', is much better than the similarly named 'Milk Pitcher Jumbo (Deluxe) by Amazo Magic', which looks nice ,but it has a very limited pour: it only looks like you've poured out about 1/2 the liquid , whereas with the 'Milk Jug Jumbo' the illusion is that you've poured out about 7/8ths of the liquid. The other one that is about on par with the 'Milk Jug Jumbo' is Bazar de Magia's 'Milk Pitcher Pro'. It's good, too, but I had to choose I would get this one, 'Milk Jug Jumbo'.
The slow-pouring action mentioned above can be downplayed if you use a large funnel to apparently assist in pouring the liquid into something else , such as a paper sack , or a hat , or some other receptacle . If you were actually pouring liquid out of a pitcher through a funnel you would need to do it somewhat slowly and steadily to prevent it from overflowing the funnel, so by using a funnel it justifies the slower pouring action.
