Great trick. A little confusing for amateur me at first to keep it straight where to find the spectator card, but after some practice it's fine. I have two ways to end the trick. 1) After the last cut, I ask the spec to count 1 - 2 - 3. As soon as they start, I pick up the deck, find the card and toss it out, face down. Usually takes about 2 seconds. Then ask: what was your card? Etc. 2) I say, let me look through the deck and pick out three cards that might be your card. I pick two indifferent cards and their card, face down. Then the magician's force: put your hands on any two. If two indifferent cards, then remove them; one card remaining, "What was your card?" Etc. If one indifferent and the spec's card, then repeat: point to one, and whichever they choose, remove the indifferent card. Done.
