I have had a couple of pitchers before and have always been disappointed. This is much better quality. In fact, when I got it, I thought there was a mistake, and they forgot the gimmick. They didn't, I just didn't see it.

The "gimmick" is also removable, making it easy to clean and very easy to "load".
