This is a very clever version of Patrick Page's classic bill change effect. No extra gimmicks are
used. It works just like the demo.
BUT BUYER BEWARE. Juan Pablo's Money, Money and his
Real Change (also sold here at Penguin) are the same effect with the same basic method, with a few
small differences. I did not know this and purchased both. You don't need both. Just pick one. I'll
try to detail some of the differences.
Money, Money is a DVD from Penguin, Real Change is a
Penguin download. Money, Money is taught by Juan Pablo himself, using an English speaker dubbed
over. I found this to be no problem at all. Real Change is taught by Penguin's Nick Locapo (alway
great).
Money, Money is a 5 bill change and Real Change is a 4 bill change. Either could be
adapted to the other number of bills, it would seem. In other words, you could do Real Change with 5
bills and Money, Money with 4. But that's not how they are taught.
While the general method
is the same, some of the specifics of the method are different. Money, Money is a little more
complex, but not to any great degree. I like both variations.
Both of these seem
complicated at first, and both take some practice. They are not self-working. But don't let that
scare you. They are easy to perform, once you get the set up and basic practice down. This is too
good of a trick to not give it the hour or so you'll need to get up to speed with it.
Basically, despite the variations in the same basic method, I'd recommend that if you prefer a
DVD, get Money, Money. If you prefer downloads, get Real Change. Both are great!
