I purchased MACAAN by Matt Mello some time ago. The instructions were done by Craig Petty. MACAAN is
A card (not ANY card) at ANY number. It is a really good effect, but it is A card, not ANY card.
However, Craig Petty provides a way to make it a true ACAAN later in the instructional video. The
problem with this particular ACAAN, if you want to call it a problem, was that you had to use two
decks. I've purchased quite a few of Craig Petty's effects and never been disappointed. I think that
he also does an excellent job in explaining things in his instructional videos.
So, back to
Destiny Deal. I was a little skeptical when I ordered it. I was even more skeptical when I actually
received it. I thought, "You've got to be kidding me!" You get a single card with instructions on
it. How can you possibly do an ACAAN with this single card? Well, obviously, you can. When Craig
explained how it works, it blew my mind. There's no forcing of the card or the number. They are,
indeed, free choices.
The trailer is accurate. Out of all of the ACAANs out there, this,
to me, has to be the best. It's very easy to do. No complicated sleights; really, no sleights at
all. If you have never done an ACAAN, or even if you have done others, I think that you will really
like this one!
