This is a great illusion. Although i dont think the gimmick looks very realistic at all but they do explain how to modify it to make it look better. They give you a few handlings to work with although to let the spectator inspect the props the routine requires allot of palming so i made a routine where i dont have to palm and its only inspectable at the beginning. I feel like the method is fairly obvious but I really like the visual when detaching the finger in the open palm version. If you perform the penetration from the front and back it does seem to confuse the spectator because it cancels out the method. I had a little trouble with sliding the blades in at first but its alot smoother now just have to make sure you push the gimmick all the way up. I was worried about the angles but it works very well in person. Practice is important of course. Video is well shot Javier is doing the tutorial. He is one of my favorite because him and Nick Lacapo are so very thorough. Props are well made of course and i think you can get alot of mileage out of this trick. Highly recommend especially for halloween. I performed this for a few kids and looked utterly disgusted lol. Even stumped older people. Great trick
