One blank on BOTH sides quality-looking slate is momentarily inserted into an opaque envelope. It is withdrawn briefly to show it is still blank. The slate is momentarily reinserted back into the envelope and when it is withdrawn it has chalk writing on BOTH sides of the previously blank on both sides slate.

The envelope is completely ordinary and it is empty before and after the slate is inserted and removed. I ordered a leather iPad envelope-bag to use instead of the ordinary, bent, paper envelope that came with the slate because it looks more mystical and classy.
