As a guitar player with an appreciation for magic, this is not only perfect for me it’s relatively
easy to do. There are some easy slights that can be confidentially performed with a days practice.
And I don’t do slights.
I was so excited going through the video that I made my own gimmick
just to practice.
Well worth the $35!
I too am a guitar player and flipped when I saw this trick, as it melds two of my interests/loves. However, I hesitated in putting it into my cart because it seemed as if much of what I saw from the trailer was slights (ones that even I caught and I'm not a pro to say the least). Because of that, I wanted to wait and read the reviews. Just wondering what is so special about the "picks?" Do the picks do all the work? Or a decent percentage of the work vs. the slights? I have tons of picks so I'm good there, but would need to bone up on my slights since you mentioned "some easy slights."
The majority of this is sleights. The tricks with the gimmicked picks are not foolers, and the penetration is something you can find in a decent book of coin magic (just substitute a pick for a coin) for the same price or less and get another 100+ tricks and routines to boot. $30 is not worth it for some ordinary guitar picks and gimmicks anyone can make themselves. Even the shipping is overpriced - Penguin charged me $5 for shipping that cost them $1.50. RIPOFF!
Look up the JW vanish. If you can do a JW vanish with a regular guitar pick, you will EASILY do the slights required for this illusion.
