It's completely undetectable! It's so close to the same weight as a newer (not silver) half dollar you'd have to put it on a scale to tell for sure. It looks just like a coin you don't have to switch it, I don't. I use M5 to flip it over in peoples hands, as a Hold Out in my back pocket, I'll leave it in my sleeve to vanish or switch small metal items (safety pins, paper clips). Multi uses out of this thing!
