I can see how some people could like this, but this isn't for me. The first thing I don't like is that the forces are very transparent. That's the first thing that turned me off. The second is that you need to tear a gaffed card during each performance. This is something I'd prefer not to do, especially since quality gaffed cards may become harder and harder to come by.

I am not sure giving a low rating is appropriate simply because the trick is "not for you"
