Into the Abyss is an awesome DVD that I really felt good about purchasing. If you are intrigued
and thinking about picking this one up, I'd definitely add this to cart now. The effects are great,
and the DVD is just fun to watch as well. Bonus, you get some insider performance advice from Oz
just by watching him as he performs these miracles.
A couple things to watch out for. These
effects, though great, really do depend on your ability to perform them well and SELL them to the
audience. In a nutshell, you need to be able to engage the audience, otherwise these effects could
end up as yawners in the wrong hands. Also, while all the effects are really good, there was only
one in particular that I thought was stellar, and it's the only one I felt I would perform myself.
That said, I felt that the DVD was well-worth the purchase and I enjoyed learning the effects.
Perhaps the other effects are things I can tweak and can fit into my arsenal later.
