Martin Gardner has always been my favorite writer of Magic. I got this book and was very eager to
read it, but found myself growing increasingly bored.
There are some things in here that we
learned as kids and performed for eve relative, like the different addition tricks etc. You'll see
really interesting ideas in here though, don't get me wrong. The majority of it isn't very practical
though. A lot of memorization and calculations are required to perform pretty much everything in
here.
Overall I would have to say that the majority of this you will just skip over and
probably won't affect you much. There is a fair margin for perofrmance material in here or other
ideas that you might like, but it's not TOO highly. Make of it what you will I suppose
