This has to be my 3rd favorite in this fantastic series of four "Packs Small, Plays Big" series of
DVDs.
As I have stated in other reviews, I feel that these are a GREAT deal. Each one is a
FULLY scripted original show by Dan that ALL packs in a briefcase. Personally, I feel that that is
worth FAR more than 30 dollars, especially from a funny, creative powerhouse like Dan.
This
volume however deals almost solely with Kid's Show magic. While you could arguably make some of
these effects work for teenagers or adults, I feel that these are suited best FOR kids like they
were originally intended.
Also, it is quite obvious that Dan had done children's shows
before. He has a lot of experience in the field and you can tell; this DVD is filmed for an ACTUAL
audience of LIVE kids. This is a good learning experience and something that is ALWAYS fun to watch.
I really liked this DVD. Whether I will use any of the material has yet to be decided, but
I can assure you that this is worth the money JUST to see Dan performing for live kids. Highly
recommended.
