Scotch and soda is a classic
effect and one I think just about everyone should pick up at some point. I mean, you just have to!
It's Scotch and Soda!
But that is exactly what is wrong with this effect as well. It's too
popular! Every magician has one, and everyone performs with it. It really can be a great effect and
can have several different uses and applications, and if you get it I hope you will explore
different ways of using it. It's a strong bit of magic that does get reactions.
However,
for me, this has been demoted to an effect I do for kids when I have to. It's good, but just
overused and overdone. But that, I admit, is more a personal preference.
