From the description, it might not be clear what "Service contracts extended to May 2010" means, so let me explain:

The climax to this routine is when the phone number on a selected business card is called, and it reveals a recorded prediction message. These phone numbers were set up and have been maintained by the folks marketing this effect. However, after May 2010, it is very likely that these phone numbers will be allowed to expire, and will no longer work. So, what you'll be left with is a routine with no climax. Given this likelihood, or at the very least, significant uncertainty, purchasing this effect at this point seems like a very bad idea.
