I was hoping for a much more sophisticated gimmick and I was gutted to find that the gimmick is really low-tech. Because of that the trick doesn't seem all that brilliant to me and it really lacks an excitement.

are you new to magic? because gimmicks are never high tech. unless you spend 100 and so and so dollars. As long as the trick works as its suppose to. then you have nothing to complain about. especially for such a low price.
