Because of the workings of this effect, you want cards that are easy to handle. The last thing you want is to start fumbling and expose the deck. The Bicycle card version isn't a whole lot more expensive, but it's definitely worth the couple of extra dollars. Don't assume you're just paying extra for the brand name; there really is a difference in the quality and feel of the cards.
