For a bit of background, I did metal bending before getting this. I did one little spoon bend and a
couple of covered ones. I relied more on Psychology than visuals to really give it a "bend"... But
MAN, after seeing this... NOTHING can really beat a VISUAL bend... And Banachek and Richard
Osterlind are probably THE most qualified to teach these things as ANYONE.
Wow; seriously.
You WILL say "Wow!" when you see the AWESOME stuff on this DVD; Both Banachek and Richard have some
CRAZY great stuff that is TOTALLY original. And you KNOW you are getting the best because it is
culled from ALL the four volumes Banachek has done (with L&L) and all the 12 or so that Richard has
done. This stuff is CRAZY good and you WILL be doing this.
Not to mention the sheer amount
of easy moves on here; Richard teaches TONS of great, easy stuff that a beginner can do. Both have
valuable advice about doing this for real audiences, and Richard actually has a part where he tells
you how to do this stuff on camera. The teaching and experience is just SUPERB.
Not to
mention the variety of stuff on here; it is absolutely crazy. You get stuff for close-up (spoons,
forks, nails, keys) but you EVEN get a FANTASTIC, EASY Railroad Spike bend. I made up one of these
in... 2 days? Plus, it plays HUGE and can be played up as dramatic OR comedy.
I
really, really like this material and if you have ANY interest in Metal Bending of ANY sort, you
will too.
