Like many I also bought this DVD for Rene's famous oil & water routine "It can't be done any slower".
The production is obviously from a different era long time ago and the simultaneous live translation from Spanish to English is sometimes not in sync with what you see. It might therefore take a couple of re-runs before you really see the nuances of Rene's handling.
The routine is a beauty and even for a two handed person a lot of the handling probably gains in clarity if you perform it one handed like Mr. Lavand does.
The production of the DVD (VHS) takes one star away from the 5 I would have given it otherwise.
