1. too obvious
2. if someone took some science class in highschool, they will figure nongimmick version out easily

3. summer is coming so... we cant do this

Just because it uses high school science is no reason why they would figure it out. Nobody assumes you're not using "regular" water or has a clue that the principle behind this is so powerful. There's is zero reason for you to be concerned about them putting two and two together.
