My gimmick broke after 10 minutes of use. I contacted Penguin and they told me to contact Eric
Jones, which I did. He was prompt responding to me. I sent him a SASE which cost another (sending
him the broken gimmick and for him to send me back) I have contacted Eric a few times asking how is
the repair, no response. It's been 17 days and Eric has vanished completely. I have spent a total
of on this failed trick; I feel totally ripped off. Warning do NOT trust this magician. I will
be looking to buy my magic elsewhere. Worse customer service ever!
I am surprised that your gimmick broke that quickly. I’ve used mine without any problems (and I don’t have the softest hands) The gimmick is very clever and actually should be pretty simple to repair it. I won’t discuss how to do it here because I am not sure if that would reveal the secret or terms of use, but if you do some research on what you see on the gimmick you will find a lot of videos that show how to work with this “technology” and allow you to repair it yourself. Of course it may not be as good as what Eric would do, but in a pinch you could do it.
