I do not think that ACAAB is a full 4 stars trick, but it is definitively above 3.5. So for the
record, I am giving it 4- (four minus). I know, it is awful what colleges can do to you ;-) In any
case, I really appreciate the thinking behind ACAAB that Boris puts into the trick, but the reasons
I gave it 4 minus for a couple of reasons: #1 as an ACAAN purist having the deck in full view and
never being touched by the magician is a must, ACAAB does not leave the deck in full view at all
time. And reason #2, there are a couple of additional requirements that the magician must have on
his/her person in order to perform. These additions are most likely things that you already have,
so no extra money is involved here, but if you want to perform ACAAB, you will have to make an
effort of being conscious about them and that can be a drag. Out of ACAAB, I learned a couple of
utility moves that I can certainly apply to other tricks. I do not know why Penguin does not have
a trailer on site. IT can be very helpful because it shows Boris performing live at some convention
to magicians and it is very impressive.
