Some of the effects on the DVD are fantastic (particularly Harmony) and Leval's instruction is quite
good. The production quality of the DVD itself is excellent, as well, and I think it's only a
matter of time before more magic DVDs begin appearing in the blu-ray format. If I could fault
anything with this particular DVD it would be Lewis Leval's performance style. He seems so
disinterested in his performance that he manages to make some truly spectacular effects seem
entirely mundane. Magic should be...well...magical. A magician needn't appear amazed by his own
effects, but neither should he look like he's trying to stifle a yawn. All in all, though, a great
DVD and a good addition to any collection.
