This effect has gotten some bad reviews. That's unfortunate, because with a little creativity, this
is awesome! I understand that the routine presented is not great and there are risks, but the
method is so clever, and can be a real gem with a bit of creativity. And, the premise is great food
for creativity (I received this very odd letter..) but, it doesn't lend itself to a playing card.
However, now that I know the method, that obviously Jesse put a lot of thought into, I can apply it
to something powerful. Hey, I'm a giver, so here it goes: A message written on a card (blank small
index card) that was torn, but mailed to me by my friend before he mysteriously dissapeared... I
just can't figure it out! The last thing my friend told me was I needed to turn out the lights and
have someone hold a candle to allow the spirits to guide the message. In my presentation, only
after the pieces are restored is the message clear. The participants are blown away by the message!
For those giving this a poor review, you are missing a phenomenal method that is well worth the
price. I present it in either a room where the lights can be turned down or out or a dimly lit room
and the method has never been revealed. But, even if it is revealed, the message itself can be a
very powerful piece of the routine. I'll leave it up to you to come up with a really clever effect
that requires a revelation (hint: Perhaps you can learn something about somebody they don't know
that you know and then the revelation could reveal that about the person responsible for your
friends disappearance... ) I know I've just given away a gem of an idea, but, hey, I'm a giver. I
was happy to spend the bucks on this for the clever method that Jesse has made available. Thanks,
Jesse.
