You say this book is "Brilliant", but then you also say it "needs Better tricks". A tad bit confusing there. This book was put out originally in 1948. That's why it may seem "dated" to you. This has always been touted, even among pro card men, as "The bible of card magic". So, obviously, to them, the tricks are just dandy. Ricky Jay even did at LEAST one of the ones in this book in his off broadway show "Ricky Jay & his 52 assistants". As for doing tricks like where you "put a house in a bottle", I think you bought the wrong book for that anyway. That wasn't a card trick. LOL!
