For the price and ease of use, this effect is hard to beat. Yes, it basically does one type of
effect, but the effect plays so big it's hard to say anything against this. You will have to create
your own gimmick supplying two decks of cards (or actually just the two boxes), but then you will
have an incredible miracle in your hands.
The handling on this is great, and you can indeed
have the spectator pull their signed card from the box (with a little help from you). No, they can't
examine the box, and you can't really use it to hold the deck or much else without a lot of angle
control and gentle handling, but those are minor complaints. The teaching on the DVD is easy to
follow and you'll have the gimmick constructed in about 20 minutes.
Once you begin with
this, you'll find a number of uses for this. Closing an ambitious card routine is a natural choice,
but just about anything using a single-card reveal could be a possibility. And this is one of those
that could actually fool you while performing it...even though you know the secret. It looks
amazingly real.
