I say "not your conventional coin trick", because you're using an alternative item forming the
premise of a coin. This is an effect on it's own where you would conveniently have a tin with the
"coins" to perform the effect. Although there is preparation work involved in making the gimmick for
each performance, you can carry it around quite practically, perform the effect as shown in the
demo, ending relatively clean.
I prefer to hand the spectator a coin, as I grab a "coin" of
my own, and pretend to teach them how to vanish the coin as shown in the demo. Then, after the
original squish vanish, ditch the gimmick as you go to fish for another "coin" in your tin and
proceed to apparently swallow a 2nd coin.
