Not only do I like this deck for normal use, I particularly enjoy using this deck for effects which require (or are intensified by) writing on the back of the cards. Trilogy, Cataclysm, any signed card effect, etc. A sharpie comes out really visible and "neat" on these cards. I imagine you could devise a "Phil" type of effect with these cards as well. Great in each color. Classy, simple, minimalist look.
