It's funny how a book like this is purchased to begin with by folks looking "hard hitting" or
"advanced magic. As some of those others have said, this book is killer for NON magicians... who are
obviously the market target if you look at the books online info. That said, there is indeed a lot
for anyone. If high skilled magicians buy this looking for new tricks, there wont be a ton... but
keep in mind it has a lot of material nonetheless. People pay 15 bucks for ONE trick at times. Just
keep it in perspective and quit trashing items that are perfectly fine for what they are. It's like
going to a great sandwich shop and complaining about the food because you do not pizza, which they
also serve. Anyhow, I think it's a fun book for a guys gift. As another said, I'd never get a
non-magician a DVD on magic card manipulation or advanced rope magic, etc...
I don't believe I was expecting hard hitting or advanced magic. I think I was expecting a book that didn't appear to be written by a 13 year old child. It's a joke, from cover to cover. No need to take it personally. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and mine happens to be that the book is a waste of $15.
