I've just made it through this book for the first time--I read through every page--and I have to say
that I'm not that into it. It's often paired with PME and 13 Steps as the "Big 3", but I found it
to be PACKED with unnecessary fluff (and Waters admits it sometimes too).
There are some
effects in this book that I've developed into new ideas for myself, and for the inspiration, I am
thankful, but most of the effects as they're written are very minor miracles.
If you're
serious about mentalism, I'd say you should still get it to have read it and to build off of the
ideas. Hopefully on a second read through, and when I go through my notes, I'll feel better about
the book.
