At first I saw no benefit to using a short card, it's almost like cheating your way through a whole bunch of sleights. However, when you figure out exactly how commercial and easy it makes all of your card magic (including the very creative routines and variations within the dvd), this becomes very valuable.

So..I say it's lazy in a good way. I don't think you can regret this purchase.
