I really like the effect that's presented, but I love/hate this gimmick. There are two specific
things I don't like about the gimmick, but I can't tell you what they are without giving away the
method. Needless to say, you will want to get a variety of bottles to practice at home -- find the
brands that work best, and avoid the others when you are in public.
That said, I'll tell
you that I don't even bother with the original effect anyway. I *far* prefer the alternate effect
and handling presented by Dan Harlan, which does not require you to even care about those bothersome
things I can't really mention. Because, with Dan's variation, they are a non-issue. In fact, Dan's
effect is far stronger, in my mind, looks fantastic, and makes the gimmick *totally* worthwhile.
So buy this. Definitely buy it. And if you discover those annoying imperfections, you can
ignore them. Don't whine about them in the forums (everyone else already has). Just do Harlan's
effect, and you'll be a happy camper, and glad you bought this product.
