Just got this in the mail. You can perform right out of the box. I suggest watching the short DVD first. The DvD teaching is demonstration only and Mickael C. does not speak. Overall the Gimmick is well made and should last you a very long time. The colour changing is one way to perform the trick however, He does teach you other ways to utilize the gimmick. This one is going straight into my repertoire.
