Magic Tricks

This was filmed before Derren became the superstar he is today. He demonstrates some interesting effects and explains a couple, but the biggest insight gleaned here would be from his thinking behind forcing (or suggesting, to be more precise) a card to the spectator through specific phrases and gestures. He's not going to give you a behind-the-scenes look into how he does his routines today, but this is a good grounding on where he started it all. It's very low-budget, but it's probably the best lecture you'll ever get from him at this time.
