The rope in the picture makes this look like it could be the same thickness as the Penguin Rope or
similar. It's not. This is a very thin rope. The blue color is a little faded and uneven in spots,
as the dye job was not necessarily the best. This presents a problem if you are trying to do the
"endless loop" part of a routine, as the uneven spots obviously won't be moving as opposed to a
white rope that can create that illusion.
The rope handles nicely, though you can pretty
much give up on being able to tuck the ends if that is your preferred method. I will probably just
use this for close-up and perhaps parlor size if doing presentations for a dozen or so folks. For
stage work, I'm not sure this is the best choice. I will have to say it's nice to get a round rope
that moves well, as opposed to the Camirand rope that's flat.
