The video here trains you perfectly for this effect. It takes a few minutes to get the knack of it,
but you really can have anyone tie you up and you'll be in and out of it in seconds. There is a rope
included, but I quickly ditched it in favor of regular rope as I had people thinking it was
gimmicked because of how it felt. It seems more like a boat rope than regular rope, so it almost
comes undone on its own after it's tied. Of course, the volunteer can see that as well so the
challenge isn't there. Using regular rope can be a little tricky if you don't manage your volunteers
right, but it ultimately pays off better. Tony's routine is very short, but if you add to it you'll
have a great effect that can play for just about any size audience.
