Honestly, I was hesitant when it came to buying this trick. However, when this came in the mail and
I saw the gimmicks, I was thinking "Man another horrible purchase!" But after I watched the
DVD(which was short and to the point) I was able to do this in like a minute. No exaggeration there!
Its really easy. If your a beginner in card magic or you just want to add another card effect in to
your existing routine, this trick is one of the best places to start. I highly recommend it.
The only issue I have with this trick is that at the end, the three 3s are examinable, but the
deck is not. Sure they can handle them for maybe 10 secs, but no longer than that. However, if you
perform it the way Mark teaches you, they will never ask to see the deck. Buy this!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Greg- I know this response is coming 5 years later LOL, I posted the first review here (self working oil and water is a perfect 5!). I see why you are saying the deck is not examinable but I feel it can be easily examined after (and before for that matter) the effect. Only one card is gimmicked (technically a HALF of a card is gimmicked) and the way I do it is when I spread the deck on the table I invite the spectator to “look really close” to make sure there are no other 3’s in the pack, I also turn over the deck and show the backs while saying “there’s not a 3 hidden back here in case you were wondering”, and to the spectator it’s what I just mentioned above that makes them feel they just inspected the deck. And they DID inspect it, just not with their hands. With that being said, I also have no problem with the spectator holding the cards and spreading them in their hands (especially after a quick cut when they are inspecting the 3’s at The ebd
