Joe Monti's lecture was too long for amateurs who only want to learn card tricks and too short for
Penguins longest lecture.
Too many real world stories about the legends of magic that most of us
will never experience. Unless you have patience to understand the tangents that teach far more than
the method of a trick please avoid this amazing experience and purchase 100 tricks with a Svengali
deck.
Joe 's original jokes might be a shock to those who prefer using hackneyed lines " because
they worked for the magician you saw at the comedy club ".
You're money is better spent buying
other Penguin effects that require little skill but are actually great !
On a side note I
think joe is a mental patient who needs sedatives and a room with cushions. Entertaining and clever
yes.... But 6 real world workers that require lots of skill NO! Give me stuff I can buy today and
put in my show tonight!
A+++ if you're a pro
D------ if you're a Master Magician only to
your YouTube subscribers and immediate family..
Joseph Safuto
I'm fairly confident this is Joe Monti's own review. Safuto is his nickname on magic forums. This is... strange to say the least.
I also find it funny that he gave such a poorly received lecture after the way I've heard him talk about how incredible all the material he releases is...
I haven't seen this lecture. It may be incredible as Joe says it is, but I've found that virtually every time that a large percentage of the reviewers give a product a low rating, I agree with them.
