Bought spider gimick and it work good with the spool. Now I needed a new spool and then I bought this package.
The first spool got tangled in the spool (not in the the gimick) and when I finaly got some more out it got tangled again and again...
As to the help I got from penguin they said I get one new spool next time I order.
I review the spool and not the thread. Not all spool will be like this but it could happened and then I think it's not worth the money... I would rather bye another product where this problem would not be possible.

One problem may be that Tarantula unit is defective. If it is the cheap copy.and not the original tarantula, this will keep happening. The imitation spins in the opposite direction than the real taranula.
