Secret of the Mayans is worth the price of the manuscript, as it basically includes a very detailed script for creating a bizarre / spooky experience for your spectator. However, the rest of the routines are not really earth-shattering ideas for uses of a marked deck. Credit to Paul Voodini though for including commentary on why each routine leads the spectator away from suspecting a marked deck - these principles are important and can be more broadly applied.
