First off all, I respect Mr. Norman Gilbreath for introducing the 'Gilbreath Principle' to the magic
community, it is a genius discovery that has many uses.
However, I am extremely disappointed in
this lecture. In all of the routines, the presentations are confusing, the actions are extremely
unjustified and illogical, and the magical moments are weak. Plus, the set up for each effect is
VERY extensive, with no strong magical payoff whatsoever at the end. I am sorry to say this, but
this is the worst lecture I've ever seen.
He's a brilliant creator and has come up with some terrific material and you should judge the lecture based on that, even though his presentation left a lot to be desired.
No Zigg. You're supposed to base your rating on the quality of the lecture.
Very true, the lecture should be judged on the quality of the material and the presentation which Norman fell short of our expectation.
That's precisely what I'm saying it was a good lecture with good material even if the presentations have room for improvement. Even if the tricks were bad the ideas and inspirations would still make it a good lecture.
