The quality of materials alone justifies the asking price, but naturally one expects to get a good
trick as well. Have no fear on that score. This is classic Colombini; direct, sprinkled with
self-deprecating humour, surprising, entertaining...and it's a version of his beloved Hofzinser ace
problem (I like the plot myself). Oh, it's also falling-off-a-log easy, which is also a Colombini
staple. Maybe the reason this gets overlooked is because it's tailored for emcee work, of which Aldo
did a lot. It's a bit of a challenge for the space-conscious close-up worker, but if you pack your
show in bag you could swing it and, at this price point, it's worth it for the hobbyist who
occasionally entertains at home, or just for one's own amusement.
