I can tell a lot of work went into this video and that he really helps you to understand the psychology of the different types of spectators and how to deal with them and make money at street busking in a relaxed and natural "let them come to me" way instead of being pushy and trying to coax them into watching some magic. Which is the way I kinda figured I was going to do it once I start busking. But he really did answer most of my questions I had concerning doing street magic for money.

I learned some great tips, including some light jokes here and there to keep them smiling. He also included two tricks. One being the floating coin. Although I already knew basically how magicians float coins, I always wondered how they circle their finger around it to make it look like there can't possibly be any thread above it, or anywhere. He answered this question for me and some other good techniques for floating a coin. He also teaches a card transpo to their pocket trick which is good for beginning and ending your performance. He teaches you a great way for collecting the money from spectators without guilting them into it (if that's a word - probably not lol). And that was one of my main questions. What's the best way to collect? He's got the answers in this dvd. How to handle different people, how to figure out how much you can make and even quit your job to do it full time, how to get people in to start watching you perform, etc.

I am glad I purchased this. Only con is that I wish he would have had more live footage from beginning to end, showing his strategies for getting the spectators to watch, humoring them, handling them, and collecting. But he just explains how to do this and every once in a while shows very short clips of their reactions and stuff. Would have been nice to gather all what I learned and then actually see him do all of it in a natural way so it may be easier to get an idea of how you can model after that. But all in all it was a well thought out dvd that answered a lot of my main questions when it comes to getting out there and doing magic to make money.
