To begin with, this is a beautiful version of the McDonald Ace's. I'm speaking of the advanced
version on the DVD. The basic routine that is taught is a nice compact version that will be within
the reach of any card magician. The advanced version is really not that hard though. It's a little
more move heavy than the basic version however. The hardest thing about learning the advanced
version is that the guy doing the English translation often mis-calls the right and left hand! He
also refers to a certain type of gimmick card as another type of gimmick card...very confusing...so,
when you watch this, pay CLOSER attention to the video part. I've always done the Dream of Aces,
but in Jean's version, the aces actually vanish from the stacks of four, instead of just changing to
other cards. I love this type of trick. It's demanding but not too bad if you dedicate to it. It
almost provides a type of meditation if you will. To sit down and really get into the moment with
magic as the motive!...good stuff for sure! Peace... the 4 stars was for the confusing narrative..
