The cards are cheaply made and have that generic look and feel to them. That's why these are great
for the right moment. If they get a little dirty and aged they will look all the better. If you
just have this deck out and rapped with a rubber band, or in a junk drawer their generic look will
be disarming to spectators. This will only add to the magic you are performing. I wouldn't use these
if I had planned to perform for people, but in an off beat moment when someone asks if you can show
them something, these cards are perfect.
You make a great and often overlooked point there my friend. Imagining this deck looking a bit old and worn (easily accomplished by some intensive running of cards through the deck whilst watching deck whilst watching hour long TV show or something, with a little dried dirt on the hands! I find that always a great way to age something), Well if these looked like that and were to be 'found!' in the kitchen drawer whilst looking for an old deck of cards to have a game with a visiting friend, then they would so look the part that no one would ever suspect they were prepared and planted there! It is all part of the magic! That is simply an extended set up!
