This is one of the best DVDs that I have every purchased. Double exposure is one of the most
baffling cards trick I have ever come across and ever since I saw David Blaine do it to the Smiths I
knew that I had to find it. Well... This is it, the exact trick that he performed on TV. It uses a
normal deck but is not simple or easy to do. There are a few moves that I had to learn specifically
for this effect. Double Exposure can be performed any time, anywhere with a borrowed and shuffled
deck. It is Pure Gold. I would Pay $100 dollars just for that one trick.
The other two
tricks are equally as impressive but require fairly intricate set ups. That being said, Triumph and
Triumph again is amazing, it is the most powerful triumph effect I have ever seen, and Asi's
Handling of A.C.A.A.N. is also the most straightforward version I have come across.
This
DVD contains the Most pure, simple, and powerful version of two classic effects. If you were
actually magic and could do Acaan or triumph with the wave of your hand It would look like This.
On top of all that Double exposure is (in my opinion) the best impromptu card trick of all time.
And you get it all for 30 bucks! My advice is to buy it unless any of the reasons below apply.
Things that I didn't like about the DVD:
-Asi does not teach the most of the slights that
he uses to accomplish these effects but instead references other books and DVDs where you can learn
them. This is annoying but in no way takes away from the effects.
-His teaching style is very
simple and to the point, but can get repetitive.
Reasons not to buy it:
-If you are a
beginner Magician, and do not want to put in the work. These tricks are demanding, and take a
significant amount of work to be able to perform well. Im talking weeks not hours. When you are just
beginning I suggest using simple slights (the double lift, glide, etc.) and gimmicked decks
(invisible, brainwave, or mirage) to accomplish miracles easily. There are good tricks at every
level. These are good tricks but they are not on a beginner level.
-If you are against
memorizing a deck
-If you are dumb, and don't know good magic when you see it.
